Description.
The knowledge about terrestrial and marine ecosystems -required for
the modelling, management and conservation of their biodiversity- must
be based on reliable data about the distribution, structure and dynamics
of their animal and vegetal populations, their biotic and abiotic
relationships, the impact of exogenous factors on their temporal
evolution, etc.
These data are mainly obtained through field campaings, so our main tasks are:
- Supporting IMEDEA's researchers on the design, coordination and
logistic organization of field campaings for data and sample collection.
- Supporting researchers in data collection, either in situ or with automated instruments.
- Help in post-processing and analysis of samples and data obtained in these campaings.
